About the Qualification

The Bachelor of Arts in Management and Psychology provides students with a grounding in all aspects of the two disciplines. Business is about people, namely designing products that people can use safely and which appeal to people, encouraging people to buy products, and managing people effectively. Psychology helps you to understand the 'people' aspects of business, and so is relevant to anyone aspiring to a career in management, sales, or product design, as well as any other business setting in which you would be involved with people. Psychology tells us how people think and behave; and naturally complements management science, which shows how to apply some of these lessons to business practice.

Aims of the Qualification

The programme aims to provide subject-specific knowledge, skills in critical analysis, and other transferable skills. In addition to this, the programme prepares students for entry to careers in business and occupations that do not require a legally-defined psychology qualification.
