Transfer/ Withdrawal/ Deferment Policy

Student Transfer Withdrawal
  • Student who wishes to withdraw from his/ her course or transfer to another course/ branch must do so in writing (Transfer/Withdrawal Form).
  • Refund of course fee if any will be based on the Refund Policy.
  • Only students who fulfill a 90% attendance will be allowed for transfer.
  • The outcome for any request for transfer or withdrawal will be made known to student within 4 weeks from the time the written request is received.
  • Student Pass (if applicable) will be terminated within 7 days from date of withdrawal.
  • A non-refundable administrative fee of S$30 will be charged for the processing of transfer.
Student Deferment
  • Student who wishes to defer from his/ her course must do so in writing (Application for Deferment).
  • All deferments are subjected to School's approval.
  • Students after accepting an offer of a place in the course, may give at least two weeks written request before the course's Commencement Date to defer to the next available course intake.
  • The course fee paid will be transferred to the next available course intake.
  • The 'next available course intake' may commence in the following term or in the following year
  • Depending on the class vacancy, students can return to school at the prevailing course fee charged on the new commencement date. An offer of a place in a course may be deferred for up to twelve (12) months only.
  • Any approval for deferment is granted as a privilege to and in the spirit of goodwill for the Student.
  • The Student shall not, as a result of the privilege given to him/ her, hold the School responsible for any consequences whatsoever which may arise out of the deferment.
  • The Student shall have no grounds whatsoever to claim for any refunds or damages after request for deferment is approved.
  • The outcome for any request for deferment will be made known to student within 4 weeks from the time the written request is received.

Transfer / Withdrawal / Deferment Procedure
1. Student Requests for Transfer/ Withdrawal/ Deferment
  • Fills out relevant sections in Student Transfer/ Withdrawal (Termination) (Form 4.4.2) or Application for Deferment (Form 4.4.2A)
2. Course Coordinator Checks Alignment with Transfer/ Withdrawal/ Deferment Policy and Submits Recommendation to Management
  • Fills out relevant sections in Student Transfer/ Withdrawal (Termination) (Form 4.4.2) or Application for Deferment (Form 4.4.2A)
  • For students below age of 18, student’s parents/ guardians must sign on Form to indicate their approval
3. Management Approves/ Rejects Request
  • Fills out and sign Student Transfer/ Withdrawal (Termination) (Form 4.4.2) or Application for Deferment (Form 4.4.2A)
4. Inform Student Outcome of Request
  • Issue formal letter and return to student copy of Student Transfer/ Withdrawal (Termination) (Form 4.4.2) or Application for Deferment (Form 4.4.2A)
  • For transfer of course within our School, existing Student Contract has to be terminated and new Student Contract to be signed
  • For students transferring to another PEI, past attendance records are to be issued to students
5. Student Referred to Refund Procedure if any Refund Involved
